LISTEN
Austravel has 2 receive only SDRs located on either side of the country. Anyone can use these to listen into any of our 10 channels. Additionally, there are many other things to listen to in the HF spectrum.
Select a channel/frequency from the dropdown list in either radio.

Each SDR receiver offers simultaneous connections for up to 4 and 8 users respectively in West and Eastern Australia. Around sked times chances are that someone is already listening to the frequency you want at that time which enables you to piggyback, or camp, on another user and listen to their frequency selection. Using the links above you can go in the queue for the next available SDR channel slot and using this makes more slots available for all. Please put your name in the USER tab – you can use your name, Austravel Selcall or Amateur radio callsign.
Sadly, we compete with many other man made noises such as over the horizon radar and ionosondes. To have a listen to what they sound like, and see what they look like on a spectrum waterfall, have a look at SIGIWIKI.
